The normal distribution is the most popular and commonly used probability distribution.

A continous random variable x is said to have a normal distribution if its pdf is given by;

We use the notation;

$x~N(\mu ,{\delta }^2)$

The normal distribution depends on two unknown parameters.

$\delta -S\tan dard deviation$

$\mu -Mean$
