Step 2: Find the sum of $\sum_{i = 1}^{n} y_{i}, \sum_{i = 1}^{n} x_{i}, \sum_{i = 1}^{n} x_{i} y_{i}, \sum_{i = 1}^{n} {x_{i}}^{2}, a n d \sum_{i = 1}^{n} {y_{i}}^{2} .$

Step 3: Using the above formula for r, substitute the values obtained in step 2.
